So far, no road construction. This would put Utah on a very exclusive list of states without major construction work going on. But it’s early yet ..
A few facts about Utah you may not know …
- Jello is the official snack food of Utah.
- The Utahraptor Dinosaur was discovered in and named for Utah.
- Completion of the world’s first transcontinental railroad was celebrated at Promontory where the Central Pacific and Union Pacific Railroads met on May 10, 1869. It is now known as Golden Spike National Historic Site
- Levan, Utah is “Navel” spelled backwards – so named (it is said) because it is in the center of the state.
- Between all of the national monuments, national parks, national forests and national recreation areas, the federal government owns about 65% of the state.
